Chanlon Facilities Management ltd Hiring for HR Manager at Glasgow Full Time

C Hanlon Facilities Management Limited has been working in the construction sector for the past 20 years. The company structure is broken down into 6 business units each with its own admin support.

The HR Manager will be responsible for the coaching and supporting the leadership function for the existing Glasgow site (others when developed) and to give them the tools to nurture and develop talent.

You will also resource manage and develop the HR capabilities within Scotland to allow for growth and diversification as per the organisational strategy. You will be expected to create a high-performance culture where people are the most valuable asset.

Ideally you will be CIPD qualified with a demonstrable track record of supporting operations along with a generalist experience and background.

Your key duties will be to:

• Uphold and demonstrate visible leadership of the company values and behaviours at all times and actively promoting these with Group and Business Unit colleagues, with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
• Proactively support and embed a generative safety culture.
• Develop, Implement and Support the People Strategy.
• Assist and Support key HR activity/programmes as required, such as Organisational Design, Management/Talent Development and Culture Change.
• Define HR Policy and Procedures such as recruitment, to ensure delivery is the most cost effective and as results driven as it can be.
• Ensure HR Policies, processes and systems are fit for purpose and values driven, producing appropriate HR MI and KPI’s, setting the standard for HR Operational Excellence.
• Complex case management as and when required.
• Coaching staff at all levels in HR skills.
• Management of specific projects as per business requirements.
• Maintaining continuous professional development and competence for the role.
• Any other reasonable duties as and when required.

Salary £40k/Annum, Car Allowance, plus benefits.
