Change Financial Hiring for Marketing Manager at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Full Time

About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Manager who will be instrumental in communicating the brand and value proposition of Change Financial. This is a newly created role, ing to the Chief Product Officer, and will shape the company’s presence in the market, targeting both clients and partners, whilst managing digital assets, including the website and social media. By merging strategic insight with tactical execution, you will ensure our audiences are informed, engaged and interested in our offerings.  

This role can be based in Brisbane (preferred) or Melbourne, and hybrid working arrangements are on offer. This role may require some domestic/international travel from time to time, so the successful applicant needs to be prepared to spend time offshore and must have the necessary passport to do so. 

Your duties and responsibilities 

• Drive the overarching marketing strategy, positioning Change Financial as a leader in its market segment. 
• Manage Change’s market presence, ensuring consistent and impactful branding and messaging to both customers and partners. 
• Design, develop, and distribute top-tier marketing and sales collateral that resonates with our target audience and spurs engagement. 
• Take full ownership of the website, ensuring content is current, relevant, and optimised for both user experience and search engines. 
• Oversee the company’s social media presence, devising a content calendar, and managing postings to foster a vibrant online community around the brand. 
• Collaborate with the sales teams, equipping them with the necessary tools and materials to succeed in their roles. 
• Monitor, analyse, and on the efficacy of marketing initiatives, leveraging data to optimise and refine strategies. 
• Coordinate customer events, overseeing the review and attendance of conventions by business development managers. 
• Manage external agencies such as content creators, social media specialists, and graphic designers, providing direction, feedback, and guidance. 
• Stay abreast of the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, implementing fresh ideas. 

What you’ll need to succeed 

• 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in content and product marketing. 
• Understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, and Social Media Advertising. 
• Proven experience in content management and creation, with a keen eye for design and detail. 
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills 
• Proven ability to collaborate with various departments and external agencies. 
• Analytical mindset with the capability to transform intricate data into actionable insights.  

“Nice to have” 

• Experience in Financial Services or B2B Technology businesses high regarded. 
• Experience with WordPress and LinkedIn Campaign Manager highly regarded. 
• Experience with CRM and supporting sales team would be beneficial.
