Purpose of the role
We are looking to offer an individual the opportunity to gain the Level 7 Accountancy Professional Apprenticeship whilst working in our Global Finance team, rotating across multiple teams. Within the structure of the apprenticeship, the successful individual will be able to pursue either the ACCA Professional Qualification or the CIMA Professional Qualification.

This is a unique opportunity to learn and hone a new set of skills in both traditional Finance teams and newly formed departments, providing balanced exposure across a range of Finance topics.

A summary of the impact you can create at Chanel through your four, six-month rotations

• Automation:

o Harnessing transformational technologies to improve and streamline processes across all business functions. Through…
o Working closely with the business team to document and understand current business processes and their interdependencies across the organisation.
o Working with internal and external partners to learn and document opportunities – how are / can transformational technologies are be utilised?

• Tax:

o Perform financial simulations to inform our global transfer pricing model, including finding ways of integrating with financial systems of the group.
o Assist our Transfer Pricing Team in implementing and managing a transfer pricing documentation management tool.
o Support the Transfer Pricing Team to undertake benchmarking studies, regional updates and work with external advisors.

• Accounting & Reporting:

o Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting and forecasting.
o Support ongoing ad hoc projects, including Treasury projects and system migration.
o Strengthen and rely on developed verbal and written communication skills to manage relationships, and deadlines, with constantly evolving priorities.

• Insurance:

o Working alongside the Global Head of Insurance and team, you will gain experience in various areas of insurance and risk management. Specifically you will…
o Assist with the notifications, review and analysis of incidents and claims
o Support ongoing ad hoc projects relating to different aspects of insurance and risk management.
