We are currently seeking a Finance Cost Analyst for a temporary 3 – 6 month position for a large mining company located in Pinjarra.

• Super on all hours
• Based in Pinjarra
• 3 – 6 month temp position
• Monday to Friday

  Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Month end product costing
• Monthly cost accounting including accruals and allocations
• Monthly reporting
• Compliance including support for annual audit process
• General ledger reconciliations
• Preparation of quarterly depreciation forecast
• Location asset inventory
• Location support including monthly visits to allocated site
• Royalty returns
• T&E (travel & entertainment) and Concur (credit card) SPA

• Exceptional attention to detail
• The ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
• Takes ownership for the resolution of issues
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Demonstrated self-motivation, initiative and innovation
• High levels of drive, determination, focus and a “can do” attitude
• Highly developed Microsoft Excel skills
• The ability to identify and implement process improvements
• An understanding of audit protocols would be advantageous as would exposure to Oracle.
