The Logistics Analyst will to the Packaging Systems Manager and is based in the ChampionX Chemical Technology Headquarters in Sugar Land, Texas .

This role will be responsible for ensuring security of supply for ISOs and Returnable IBCs. This includes vendor management, forecasting, allocations, capacity management, and other related tasks.

This role will also be responsible for ensuring that all end users for the tracking software are trained and proficient to ensure all ISOs and Returnable IBCs are accounted for and tracked.

On a day-to-day basis, this role set up deliveries for the movement of IBC’s and set up transportation when needed. This role will support data analysis and out freight expenditure for these movements.

The role will collaborate closely with the Wash Facilities and our Production facilities.

What You Will Do :

• Evaluate capacities, forecasts, and ability for the IBC wash facilities to meet our short- and long-term needs.
• Manage and evaluate relationship with vendors of IBC fleets (i.e. Univar, Ecolab, …)
• Responsible for validating and updating logistics cost, in collaboration with the freight logistics accounts payable team.
• Create / Change SAP Vendors for packaging systems and planning systems.
• Ensure NA Master Contact list is current and available to all employees and monitor various group email boxes.
• Responsible for optimizing freight lanes and costs related to IBC and ISO movements, in collaboration with finance.
• Create Capital Approval Request (CAR) for new fleets of IBCs and ISOs
• Ensure security of supply and on time deliveries of Returnable IBCs and ISOs from wash facilities.
• Manage and maintain Ecolab fleet in our planning systems.
• Responsible for PAA IBC tracking and reverse logistics on returnable IBCs
• Support supply planning to ensure PAA security of supply and on time delivery.
• Responsible for Tracking of ISOs and Returnable IBCs within North America
• Create deliveries in our planning systems for all IBC transactions.
• Input delivery information into vendor portal to schedule transportation.
• Document and maintain up to date work processes including but not limited to SAP transactions, workflows, and RACIs.
• Train stakeholders on transactions and processes and provide troubleshooting assistance to stakeholders.
• Responsible to perform physical inventories for IBC and ISOs fleets.
• Drive continuous Improvement by proposing and implementing solutions to improve and automate work processes.

Minimum Requirements :

• Professional Experience : 3 years minimum of experience in Logistics
• Education : A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Communication : Effective communication skills, written and verbal, are necessary to collaborate with various teams and present complex ideas to stakeholders.
• High Energy : Strong passion to add value and discover new insights from data analysis and modelling. Self-starter and self-motivated individual
• Problem-Solving : The ability to identify challenges, develop solutions, and implement strategies to resolve issues is crucial.
• Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with SAP, outlook, and excel.
