What You Will Do:
Operate the Manual Centerless Grinder

Perform set-ups on the machine according to the product running

Perform visual and gauging inspections

Assist crane operators when needed

Perform minor machine maintenance as required

Troubleshoot as required

Complete associated paperwork, including but not limited to quality plans and cleaning plans

Able to operate a multiple asset production cell

Work in safe manner as per rules and regulations

Follow Lean Manufacturing guidelines

Position Details:
Permanent

Full-time

Rotating shift between day and afternoon shift (night shift may be required dependent on business conditions)

Weekend or night shift may be required dependent on business conditions

Starting wage $29.00/hr.

Minimum Qualifications:
Mathematical aptitude required

Must be able to read blueprints

Understanding and working knowledge of measuring equipment is required

Organized, flexible and able to multi-task

Strong verbal communicational skills

Reliable

Safety and Quality training provided by AOT

WHIMIS training provided by AOT

Lean training provided by AOT

Ability to work shift work

Ability to work overtime as needed

Physical Demands

Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing

Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, vision, auditory, background check and physical demands assessment required upon hire

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours/day

Preferred Qualifications:
Past experience operating a Polished Rod centerless grinder cell
