Champion Data is seeking expressions of interest for highly motivated people to join our casual match day data collection team in Western Australia – Perth (WAFL Colts, Reserves, League & Women’s Competitions).

Key Responsibilities

There are positions available during the 2024 Season for the WAFL Colts, Reserves, League & Women’s competitions for the role outlined below:

• LIVE CAPTURE (listening to the caller and capturing all statistics using a computer and mouse provided by the company) – role conducted at venue

Note: we will be advertising the Caller and Caller Support roles early in the new year therefore, if you are only interested in either of those roles, please don’t apply to this advertisement.

About You

• High availability for scheduled matches as per the 2024 WAFL Colts, Reserves, League & Women’s fixtures
• A thorough knowledge of the rules of AFL (essential)
• A proven record in accountability, reliability, and punctuality
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Familiarity with Windows environments
• Capable under pressure
• Work on a rotating roster alongside existing casual staff
• Communicate openly by exchanging information and actively listening to all stakeholders
• Work together collaboratively to achieve outstanding results

• Capacity to commute to fixtured venues

Application / Training Timeline

All applicants must be able to commit to the following during the paid training process:

• Approximately 10-15 one-hour online sessions with their trainer between January and April and 2-3 three-hour sessions at venue in March/April when live matches are being played

Training content will need to be completed via an online Learning Management System in preparation for the one on one sessions, this time is unpaid.
