This program runs before and after school, and teacher assistants also serve as lunchroom supervisors during lunch periods. Occasionally, Challenger has specialized enrichment positions available such as chess instructor.

Teacher assistants may choose to work a full-time or part-time schedule. Shifts include Monday-Friday 7:00am-9:00am, 11:00am-1:00pm, and 3:00-6:00pm. Applicants with availability until 6:00pm will be given preference.
