Challenge Community Services Hiring for NDIS Team Leader Job at Tamworth Full Time

The Role

Challenge Community Services is currently looking for an enthusiastic and organised NDIS Team Leader to join our Finance team based in Tamworth. The purpose of this position is to ensure that the NDIS claiming platforms are maintained ensuring full functionality at all times. This position will be full time – 76hrs a fortnight.

This position plays a key role in the claiming process of NDIS funding. To be successful in this role you will:

• Have the ability to develop strong relationships and engage with staff and other external stakeholders
• Possess outstanding time management skills
• Be flexible in your approach and be enthusiastic about promoting best practice
• Have excellent communication skills – you’ll enjoy interacting with others and be able to communicate with a wide range of people internal and external to the organisation.

Essential:

• Ability to read, analyse and interpret funding body price guides
• Demonstrated experience in leading and supporting staff
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and to meet reporting deadlines
• Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in the operation of computer based systems and the Microsoft suite of products
• Strong analytical and technical problem solving abilities
• At least 5 years’ experience in a busy office environment
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Ability to use the NDIS Portal (PRODA)
• Possess or ability to gain a Working with Childrens check, Police Check & NDIS Worker Check

Desirable:

• Advanced Diploma Business Administration or Accounting/equivalent experience
• Knowledge of disability services in an NDIS environment
• Experience in CIMSability & Navision back end configuration and system troubleshooting
