Chaise Management Group, LLC Hiring for Grant Reviewer-High Impact Tutoring (HIT) Scaling Grants Job at Remote Full Time

Chaise Management Group, LLC is seeking individuals to review and score competitive grant applications for High-Impact Tutoring (HIT) Scaling Grants for the District of Columbia’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE).

The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) is leading a major investment in scaling and supporting high-impact tutoring (HIT) across the District, with a particular focus on at-risk students and other students who experienced disrupted instruction during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. A strong body of evidence demonstrates the effectiveness of HIT as an intervention that can produce dramatic gains in student learning.

As part of this initiative, OSSE is releasing funding to support existing, successful, evidence-based tutoring programs to scale. This will be the second round of grant funding OSSE is issuing to tutoring providers in an effort to scale HIT to students across the District. The first round was awarded in May 2022.

To serve as a reviewer for the HIT Scaling Grant, individuals must have a minimum of 3 or more years of experience either implementing or overseeing evidence-based tutoring and/or high-impact tutoring programs, in a school setting and/or with community-based organizations (CBOs)

Reviewers must be available from October 20, 2022, to December 20, 2022. During this time, grant reviewers will receive training and review grant applications. Each grant application will take approximately 3-4 hours to review and reviewers who complete the review process successfully will be compensated $150.00 per application.
