WASTEWATER TREATMENT OPERATOR POSITION
The Chain of Lakes Area Utilities Authority (COLA) has an immediate opening for a Wastewater Treatment Operator-In-Training. The position starts at a range of $18 – $20/Hr. DOQ. Selection of the successful candidate will be based on the individual’s ability to move into the position of COLA Manager within approximately 2 Yrs.(training/assistance will be provided). Salary for the Management position will pay $28 – $32/Hr. DOQ. Candidates must demonstrate strong written/oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, ability to work with Excel and Word programs, as well as, possess mechanical aptitude. COLA is located in the City of Newaygo and serves a community of residents and resort camps around the Chain of Lakes (Kimball, Pickerel, Emerald and Sylvan).
