The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of a SQL PowerBuilder application, and will participate in the maintenance and enhancement of an existing application to meet and exceed business expectations.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Working in a multi-functional team of BA, QA, Project Manager, and various developers during product release cycles, production patches
• Designing, estimating, coding, and testing complex software
• Problem-solving
• Perform application maintenance and enhancements following an approved release management cycle
• Perform Application Units and System Testing
• Update and create application documentation
• Support UAT Testing and client support
• Work in a team environment with a focus on providing quality deliverables

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive related applications development experience including scoping/estimation, requirements analysis, development, testing, and implementation in an Enterprise environment
• Sybase Experience
• PowerBuilder
• Experience working in a production environment including application maintenance services and application support
• Experience working with IT infrastructure and cloud hosting environment is considered an asset
• Knowledge of frameworks and concepts like agile and DevOps is considered an asset
