ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our Client is a high growth publicly traded software company based in Southern California. The company provides a SaaS based platform which integrates key financial services functionality into a single end to end workflow. This platform allows their clients to scale throughput more easily when it comes to loan origination, opening new accounts/credit cards, and in verifying data.

OVERVIEW
As our Client continues to build Finance capabilities that accelerate growth and optimize value, we are looking for a VP GTM & Product Finance to be drive execution between Sales, Customer Success, Marketing Operations, Product, and Delivery/Services.

This role will report into the CFO and will have a high amount of C-Suite visibility. This person will be a key member of the finance leadership team to help develop and drive GTM strategy in partnership with senior GTM leadership, as well as drive streamlined reporting and hoc analysis to provide greater lines of sight into the business partners they support.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE PARTNERING WITH THE GTM LEADERS TO:

• Develop a highly accurate bookings and ACV forecasting model, forecasting drivers spanning from marketing through sales pipeline by geo, customer segment, product, and type.

• Forecast and manage the revenue and expense for the GTM functions, the former in partnership with revenue accounting.

• Build and develop easily consumable frameworks for translating GTM strategy into measurable financial reporting with the goal of improving target setting for revenue, margin, and operating investments.

• Drive insights as to how to improve GTM operationally and financially.

• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams on headcount planning, allocation, and profitability of teams with a mandate to improve services deployment speed and reduce backlog.

• Work cohesively across Product and Sales teams to translate key insights into solutions that enhance profitability while reducing implementation/delivery times for the customer.

• Analyze pricing and packaging tradeoffs to understand impact to margin, profitability, and topline growth.

• Produce analysis to inform company’s product roadmap, platform pricing, and continued/new investment into discreet products.

• Ensure data accuracy and measure KPIs such as contribution, LTV/CAC, and efficiency in total, by geo, customer segment, product, and type segment.

• Deliver quarterly analysis and reporting of the business’ financial results including variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks, and business drivers are understood and highlighted.

• Lead and run full sales compensation cycle including analysis, reporting, supporting quota setting, administration and partnering with the Sales leadership team on design.

• Build and manage a support team to drive data analysis and reporting.

• Own the quota and capacity plan for all regions and segments.

• Ensure Deal Desk processes are optimized, specifically around ACV and bookings.

• Develop and grow a high-performing team that supports these existing organizations.

• Become a key partner to the sales leadership team, building efficiency and profitability frameworks to link key inputs and outputs across Sales, Marketing and Customer Success.

• Dive in and lead the development of the annual operating plans, quarterly and monthly financial forecasts for expenses, headcount, partner bookings and revenue and partner incentives such as rebates and ongoing analysis of actuals versus plan and/or forecast.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7-15+ years of progressive finance experience working in high-growth environments, preferably in software.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field required (Masters/MBA preferred).

• Sales finance experience required.

• GTM finance experience required.

• Product finance experience preferred.

• Exceptional financial modeling and business partnering skills.

• Proven track record of developing people, leading, and managing high-performing teams.

• Outstanding executive presentation skills which enable highlighting key drivers in consumable formats, both Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience in cultivating collaborative working relationships with teams across an organization.

• Strong experience with financial systems and data integrity; experience in Salesforce, NetSuite, and Clari preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $250,000.00 per year
