**Immediate Need** Our client is in need of an exceptional Manager of Accounting to drive accounting closes, ensure financial integrity of the reporting process, monitor and improve the overall controls environment, and assist the Controller with daily and ad hoc operations.

About our Client:

Our client is a growing Retail and Apparel company with a strong focus on E-Commerce sales and operations. This Australian company has a large presence in the Los Angeles area and is expanding quickly in the US market.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Manage month-end close process and prepare internal financial reports. Responsible for monthly report review and research to ensure financial transactions are complete and accurate.
• Review, approve, and post journal entries from staff.
• Monitor accounting reconciliations and support timely completion of accruals and schedules.
• Source relevant accounting guidance and interpret application to existing accounting practices and policies.
• Be an advocate for Finance effectiveness. Drive process improvements and help formalize our internal control over financial reporting.
• Manage inventory cycle, including all related entries.
• Manage and support the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and billing functions.
• Assist in special and ad hoc projects, including General Ledger cleanup and standardization.
• Assist in year-end financial statement audits, tax filings and compliance filings.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of and experience in GAAP accrual-based accounting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 – $80.00 per hour
