Our client is a pre-IPO B2B SAAS company located in northern California that is innovating the payments landscape for businesses by leveraging automation, AI, and blockchain technology. The results are faster settlement times, little to no transaction fees, and enhanced capital efficiency. This high growth company has received multiple awards for cutting edge SAAS technology within their industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build scalable solutions for rapid growth by leading, planning, and executing all accounting processes for the company.
• Ensure GAAP, SEC regulations, internal financial policies and statutory guidelines are followed at all times.
• Present external reporting to key leadership that includes investors, board members, and the Audit Committee.
• Build strong relationships with team leaders across the organization.
• Lead the global accounting team through training and mentorship.
• Support and prepare accounting organization for a potential IPO and SOX related compliance.
• Provide financial and technical accounting guidance while managing the company’s global tax structure.
• Drive ethical standard and corporate governance best practices that support the company’s executive team.
• Manage all audit and GAAP related responsibilities for both domestic and international subsidiaries.
• Support key M&A transactions, from due diligence to post-acquisition integration.

Qualifications:

• Must have 10 years of accounting and finance experience, including a minimum of 6 years working in the software industry (SAAS experience highly preferred).
• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business and CPA is required.
• In depth experience preparing financial statements, analyzing data, and working with foreign subsidiaries as it relates to operating and setting up accounting processes.
• Must be an effective leader that evokes trust & loyalty from the team and provides “hands on” guidance.
• Technical accounting experience including ASC 606 & 842 in a recurring subscription based model is highly preferred.
• Pre-IPO experience scaling a company is strongly preferred, along with experience in fintech and/or blockchain related companies.
• Experience with M&A transaction work and financing is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience working with multiple ERP systems. NetSuite experience is preferred.
• Critical and strategic thinking skills required and ability to work in fast-paced environment under tight deadlines is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $170,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
