In this role, you will be responsible for implementing localised people procedures and policies aligned with the global HR strategy, overseeing all day-to-day HR activities and enhancing the experience of employees throughout the lifecycle in the company.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the UK Management team to ensure alignment with the global HR strategy, values, principles and policies
Deliver robust HR procedures, e.g. recruitment, induction and probation, performance management, employee relations management, exit policies and procedures, ensure positive employee experience
Ensure HR functions are compliant with relevant local employment law
Provide HR Generalist support from CV screenings, organising interviews, visa applications, preparing employment contracts and all onboarding matters, HR records throughout our corporate HR system (BambooHR)
Take ownership over the administration of benefits, payroll and remuneration processing
Work closely with the management and employees to drive strong work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity, engagement and retention
Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and set targets to ensure timely delivery of tasks
Provide HR guidance on organisational and team structure, workforce planning and succession planning, manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
Take ownership of the employee benefit packages: pension, health insurance, cycle to work and similar schemes
Education and Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a Senior HR Manager or similar roles, preferably in a FinTech company
Hands-on knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, tools and procedures, including federal and state employment laws, recruitment, compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, and performance management.
Skillset:
Demonstrated previous success in building and taking ownership of the HR function.
Strong background in recruitment, procuring and administering benefits, as well as payroll processing and management.
Good understanding of employment law in England and the benefit in kind taxation
Experience implementing guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures.
Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Google Workspace and HRIS
