Location: Permanent Home working (may be required to travel to Head Office in Castle Donington for any ad hoc training required or team building events)

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary – will be dependent upon experience

Main Purpose of Role

CET are a fast paced, growing organisation utilising its own award winning software platform to transform the insurance claims journey for customers across the UK.

Following HomeServe Plc successfully acquiring CET in October 2021, the business is going from strength to strength. CET has now acquired ANSA UK Ltd (a leader in Underground Services across the UK) as part of its vision to be no. 1 in claims management for its blue-chip insurance clients.

CET are actively recruiting for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their Finance department.

The role will be specifically working closely with the business leaders to drive growth and profitability in one of our key divisions, Underground Services.

The Finance Business Partner will play a key role in supporting the business integration and ensuring accurate monthly reporting and insight is provided to the management team to support key business decisions.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence and contribute to the success of a growing division which is going through rapid change which will double the turnover of CETs drainage business.

We require an individual who is confident working with business leaders, strong financial controls and reporting skills and experience of providing valuable insight in a timely manner

Role and Responsibilities

• Finance Business Partner in the Underground Services (Drainage) Team
• Produce Monthly Management Accounting and Reporting in an accurate and timely manner and presenting to the leadership team
• Producing investment appraisals on products and pricing
• Ensuring adequate financial controls in place to ensure business is performing effectively.
• Building robust financial budgets and forecasts working with the Director and Head of Operations to agree key inputs and targets.
• Working collaboratively with the Finance team to support on wider projects across the business.

• Continuous development of the management accounting/reporting in line with the changing business needs

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with between 2 and 5 years post qualification experience
• University degree educated (min 2:1)

Essential and Desirable skills

• Experience in a face paced environment (essential)
• Demonstrates strong communication skills (essential)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (essential)
• Microsoft Power BI knowledge (desirable)
• Oracle / NetSuite systems experience (desirable)
