About the role

At CES, we have ambitious targets to keep billions of drink containers out of landfill and transform them into resources that can be used again and again.

In this key role you will contribute by administering, monitoring and maintaining our ERP application (Oracle Financials) that supports financial service delivery for our clients (recycling schemes).

You will manage ERP application incidents and requests, problem solving, trouble-shooting and using your finance process knowledge to resolve system issues for our internal finance teams and clients; you’ll ensure client KPIs and SLA’s are met and that fixes/enhancements are prioritised and delivered through our product team when needed.

You’ll be part of a close-knit and supportive Application Support team, and to the Application Support Manager; we work in a hybrid format, so you will be in our North Sydney offices once to twice a week – with beautiful harbour views!

Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and support other CES applications.

Some of the key deliverables of the role:

• Proactively manage and own Level 1 and 2 ERP incidents and requests to provide a positive client experience, documenting issues in our ticket tracking system and meeting KPI’s and SLA’s.
• Resolve day to day tickets raised by both recycling schemes (customers), finance and internal CES staff by investigating, analysing and trouble-shooting.
• Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of our ERP application (Oracle Financials) and provide training for end users when needed
• Oversee enhancements and updates to systems, liaising with third parties, internal IT resources and end users
• Setup and remove system access for onboarding/offboarding of clients and users
• Conduct daily health checks and escalate as appropriate
• Support continuous improvement by creating and updating Knowledge base documentation and making recommendations on the optimal use of systems and tools
• Develop and maintain functional knowledge of business operations and strategy by connecting with relevant stakeholders

About you:

We are looking for a proactive individual with some Accounting and ERP system background who has a customer service focus and excellent problem-solving skills. You’ll use your great interpersonal skills to communicate with internal teams and clients, and fulfil your strong desire to learn and share your knowledge with colleagues through documentation and training.

You will bring to the role:

• Strong experience (min 3 years) in accounting or ERP application support in a complex environment
• Experience with ERP system Financial modules is required for this role, ideally Oracle Financials but open to other ERP system experience
• Knowledge of common Financial Accounting areas required – GL, AP, AR, Expense Management
• Experience supporting integrated systems
• Extremely high accuracy and attention to detail

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with JIRA/Confluence or similar systems
• Experience with ticketing systems eg Zendesk
• SQL query writing skills and Database experience (preferably Oracle)
