Ceres Talent Hiring for Director of Customer Marketing at Remote Full Time

We are looking for the Director of Customer Marketing for a global telecom company headquartered in Washington, DC. In this new role, you will have full ownership of the company’s customer marketing strategy, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to craft and execute successful cross-sell and upsell customer campaigns. You will generate qualified sales leads by applying inbound and outbound digital marketing strategies and ABM best practices.

This is an excellent growth opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager who is ready to move up to a Director-level position.

Location: Remote, located in the East Coast or Central time zone.

What You’ll Do

• Build the company’s customer marketing function, developing marketing campaigns to promote new products and existing services.
• Serve as the customer subject-matter expert, developing in-depth knowledge of the customer bases in the Americas and EMEA.
• Develop a segmentation strategy and create customer personas with insights into demographic, firmographic and psychographic profiles.
• Devise targeted campaigns to upsell and cross-sell relevant services to key customer segments.
• Support growth of customer base revenue by developing ABM strategies and leveraging Demandbase.
• Take ownership of pipeline creation and meet monthly and quarterly pipeline and lead targets.
• Continually measure customer campaign performance across all appropriate marketing channels.
• Coordinate with Field Marketing to manage and promote digital and offline events.
• Work with Corporate Communications and Product Marketing to create new and leverage existing content.

The Quals You’ll Need

• 10+ years of experience marketing B2B products/services.
• 5+ years of B2B demand generation experience.
• 3+ years of customer marketing experience, developing persona-based campaigns targeting existing customers for upsell/cross-sell.
• Experience developing segmentation strategies and personas to upsell and cross-sell relevant services.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute ABM campaigns to target services to key customer segments.
• Expertise in digital channels including ABM, email, paid search, display and paid social.
• Experience working with Marketo or equivalent marketing automation platforms.
• Skilled at monitoring and measuring campaign performance and optimizing tactics in response.
• Ready to both develop customer campaign strategies and work with internal teams and outside agencies to execute tactics.

Bonus Points

• Hands-on experience with Demandbase or equivalent ABM platform.
• Experience marketing telecom services.
