Purpose of the Job:
The Recruitment, Talent & Acquisition Specialist will provide expertise, support, and guidance to ensure a professional and seamless service throughout the recruitment lifecycle and candidate journey. Working as an integral member of the Talent Acquisition Team, which forms part of the People Team, you will build relationships and collaborate with Hiring Managers to support the organisation through a time of exciting expansion, not only delivering end-to-end recruitment across Ceres, but also look to continuously seeking new ways of working to improve upon best practice.

The primary responsibilities include leading on a diverse portfolio of recruitment vacancies, conducting recruitment briefing meetings, advising on best practice recruitment, and sourcing strategies to include social media, leveraging direct talent pools and promoting Ceres Internal referral programme. In the instances of requiring agency support, you will liaise with our Recruitment Preferred Suppliers as well as taking a lead role in coordinating a PSL review and ensuring compliance.
In addition, you will coordinate the end to end Interview process and conduct Interviews as and when necessary, update the candidate management system, and feedback on all touchpoints across the hiring journey, from initiation to the contract of employment.

Confident in identifying, recommending, and implementing best practices, engaging with key stakeholders to advise and embed new recruitment processes & models. Ideally with experience in a technical recruitment/engineering environment you will focus on attracting specialist Scientific and Engineering talent as part of the A&S strategy along with reducing the cost per hire whilst creating a positive experience for hiring managers and candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the recruitment and talent acquisition lifecycle for a portfolio of Recruitment Vacancies
• Provide recruitment expertise and a partnership approach to stakeholders and hiring managers. (To include advice on Immigration sponsorship)
• Coach managers on recruitment best practice, talent attraction strategies (as part of the overall Talent Acquisition Strategy)
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers, the Talent Coordinator and the broader People team
• Assist with process improvement & best practice initiatives in relation to, Careers Branding, Employee Value Proposition, Social Media, Glass Door
• PSL review to build and maintain strong relationships with third party recruitment agencies lead in the forthcoming PSL review
• Support team projects that assist with development of innovative, creative, and proactive recruitment strategies
• Build talent pipelines through direct sourcing methods such as Internal Referral Scheme, Social Media, Early Careers, Colleges, Universities and Career Events to drive Ceres as an Employer of Choice
• Effective use of the Career Hub & the ATS working closely with the Talent Acquisition Co-ordinator
• Work with the talent team & stakeholders, to ensure the attraction and retention of high calibre talented individuals who contribute to the Ceres Values & Culture
• Support and participate on Graduate Days, Assessment Centres
• Act as the Scheme Administrator for the MPDS scheme
• Cascade and reinforce recruitment best practice, training for new hiring managers and support on interviews as required

Person Specification/Core Competencies:
The ideal candidate will come from an In-house Talent Acquisition background with a flexible approach and skill set that thrives in a fast-paced HR & Recruitment environment. Strong stakeholder management is essential.

Knowledge of recruitment best practices along with A&S methodologies, sourcing, screening candidates and Interviewing. along with strong administrative experience and managing a candidate Management System (preferably People HR)
