We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Finance Assistant on a part-time basis for 24 hours per week based in Ipswich, there is free car parking on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering general queries including around account/ invoices and identifying and resolving discrepancies with invoices.
  • Taking and processing customer card payments
  • Processing and paying Invoices
  • Scanning, filing and logging account documents
  • Update computerised accounting systems, including purchase ledger and bank statement records.
  • Processing purchase order requests
  • Support the company’s debt chasing using the established process in place.
  • Complying with GDPR and other relevant legislation regarding confidentiality of personal records

The company uses Sage50 accounting software, but the role will require you to learn other systems and become proficient in them as well.

You will possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and be able to work in a team. Previous experience as an administrator is essential and based in a finance department would be desirable.
