Century Group Hiring for Talent Acquisition Intern at El Segundo, California Full Time

Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team. You will be responsible for accounting operations. This position is located in Vernon.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $75, to $95, per year.

Job Descriptions :

• Collaborate on the development of robust internal controls and assist in account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting schedules for fixed assets, leases, and other relevant areas.
• Facilitate year-end requests from external auditors and participate in other audits as needed.
• Contribute to month-end closing tasks, including journal entries and GL account reconciliations.
• Investigate account variances (budget / forecast vs. actual) to ensure accuracy.
• Innovate and implement more efficient accounting processes.
• Generate ad hoc s and actively engage in various projects as assigned.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• 1-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, and / or cost accounting, with a preference for manufacturing industry expertise.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with the Food Industry is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and substantial experience with ERP systems (such as Aspen, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to define and solve quantitative and qualitative problems, analyze data, interpret results, and draw valid conclusions.
