Senior Accounting & Payroll Specialist

To process, record and maintain financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, contractor invoices, and payments, into general ledgers for Centric Learning, as well as administer all payroll services for the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments, into general ledgers

• Maintain and Audit AP and AR processes and accounts: vendors, contractors, quarterly payroll taxes

• Primary point of contact for AP and AR communications both incoming and outgoing

• Maintain an active vendor list with account details and payment history, including vendors on auto-pay and source details (EFT, CC, etc.)

• Set up new state payroll tax registration and ensure payroll vendor (paychex) is making correct quarterly tax payments to states and state unemployment tax entities each quarter and annually

• Run bi-weekly payroll for 40-50 employees, and act as the point of contact for employees with questions and concerns about paychecks

• 1099 Contractor invoice processing and point of contact for contractors regarding instructions and payment

• Manage corporate credit card payments, balances, and categorization of charges

• Manage corporate bank accounts and ensure corporate expenses are paid

• Time tracking for budgeting and other special projects as needed

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role with responsibilities in AP, AR, and Payroll

• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal relationship skills

• Heavy attention to detail and analytical skills

This position is 100% remote in the United States. Candidates must reside in states that Centric Learning works in. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
