This role will be based at our Head Office in Bedfordshire, SG17 5NQ and a hybrid approach can be discussed. Please ensure you have means to travel to our offices as we are located in a rural area.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partner
Support managers across the business, assisting them with employee needs to make their teams more successful
Build strong trusted relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
Provide guidance and support to resolve employee relations issues such as discipline, performance, grievance, maternity and paternity
Team Development
Support managers to create and implement organisation/team development plans and appraisals to ensure organisational capability meets the future business needs and
Provide development coaching and guidance to managers where needed
Talent Acquisition
Create and manage the recruitment processes to support the talent acquisition strategy using a direct and indirect approach
Support managers during the talent selection process (where required)
Lead and manage an apprenticeship programme as a key strategic source of talent
HR Management
Own the management of the HR platform, maintaining HR data for supported teams as needed
Create, deploy, manage on an ongoing basis the company employee handbook, policies, systems and practices across the business
Ensure they remain up to date with workplace legislative changes to ensure ongoing compliance
Own the administration processes and documentation associated throughout the life cycle of an employee
Own employee engagement, driving organisation values, and engagement surveys to drive a positive eNPS scores
Key Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or CIPD qualified to level 5 or above
At least 3 years experience within a Human resources management role
At least 2 years’ experience as a HR generalist manager
Must have experience working within an SME business
Prior recruitment, talent management and development experience
Proven track record of successfully dealing with a wide range of HR matters
Hands-on and day-to-day practical manager who enjoys driving change
A deadline orientated manager with an ability to multi task
Highly organised approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly computer literate
Prior experience of eNPS, and employee engagement tools
Experience of implementing and managing apprenticeships is highly desirable
