Central Transport Hiring for Staffing Specialist/Recruiter Full Time

Central Transport, one of the leading transportation and logistics firms in the nation, is currently seeking a Staffing Specialist for our Warren, MI headquarters focused on recruiting for Drivers, Freight Handlers and Mechanics. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Full life cycle of recruiting and staffing on a regional basis for Class A CDL Drivers, Switchers, Freight Handlers and Maintenance Technicians
• Sourcing to screening and reviewing applications, tracking applicants and the final interviews
• Internal Data Maintenance utilizing the company’s HRIS system and Microsoft Access
• Daily administrative functions as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in the business, human resources, management, operations or transportation
• High aptitude for technology, strong skill sets with Microsoft applications
• Strong detail orientation and self-motivation
• Must possess effective communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in an ever-changing environment.

Salary: $55,000.00 – $62,000.00 per year
