Central Support Hiring for HR Business Partner at Manchester Full Time
As a business partner you will lead projects, identify risks, interpret policy to make sound decisions and give advice on a range of policy queries and build effective working relationships at all levels to add value to the delivery of the People agenda. Utilising your coaching and influencing skills, you will provide equal measures of support and challenge, to advocate a “do with, not for” approach with the aim of upskilling managers and knowledge sharing at every opportunity, to enabling them and their teams to perform at their best, every day.
With a full generalist remit, this is a fast paced commercial role requiring creative solutions to complex issues ensuring the children are at the heart of every decision. A pragmatic team player, you will role model behaviours and champion colleague engagement to support embedding of the vision, values and Thrive Standards.
Passionate, self-confident and credible you will have a natural ability to listen and provide guidance with empathy.
Minimum requirements
CIPD qualified to at least level 5 (or qualified by experience)
2 years-experience in busy senior HR Advisor role providing multi-site advice and guidance on ER cases
Proven experience of coaching and developing managers
Technically strong, able to demonstrate a range of generalist HR knowledge with an up to date knowledge of employment law
Commercial experience and an understanding of how HR can impact business performance
Great IT skills, proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Ideally you will have an understanding of a regulated environment and safeguarding.
