Working at CQUniversity

This position will be based at the Rockhampton North campus in Central Queensland, the Finance and Planning Division is responsible for providing comprehensive reports on past performance, as well as predictive reports on future strategic and financial directions for CQUniversity, the CQUniversity Council and executive management.

You will be assisting in ensuring financial information required for reporting purposes is updated in the financial system in a timely an efficient manner and in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards. Collaborating and cooperating with other departments to achieve positive business outcomes as well as Increasing knowledge and skill when circumstances call for additional learning.

Position Requirements

• Be currently undertaking a relevant accounting degree or a recent accounting graduate
• Experience in using an accounting information system. (Desirable)
• Experience working with Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel. (Desirable)
• Excellent communication skills
• You will be expected to hold vaccinations in relation to the COVID-19 immunisation should your CQUniversity role require you to attend any setting / venue / event where there is a specific entry requirement for you hold these vaccinations, as per relevant State Government directives.
