Job Description:

The Senior Director of Laboratory Serviceswill provide strategic and operational leadership for Laboratory Services across the Centra Health System which includes 4 hospitals, a free-standing ED, Centra Medical Group labs, and Point of Care. In conjunction with Administrative Leadership and Medical Directors, assesses full-service offerings for lab within Centra Health, develops strategic plans, ensures high quality and high value services along with team engagement, and ensures compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies. Develops annual goals and objectives related to supporting the growth and development in laboratory services. Is an effective steward of Centra Resources. Evaluates and implements change management.

Centra is looking for someone that is a transformational leader with strong business acumen, understanding risk, compliance, revenue integrity, and overall business functions of the lab. Multi-site leadership experience is required.

Requirements:

· Required Education: Bachelors Degree

· Required Experience: Three (3) years of experience as a Laboratory Director or Senior Director. Multi-hospital / multi-location leadership

· Preferred Experience: Five (5) years of experience as a Laboratory Director or Senior Director. Experience with Trauma/Blood Bank as well as Joint Commission accreditation

· Required Certifications and Licensures: American Society for Clinical Pathology

Pay: $136,000.00 – $204,000.00 per year
