HR ADMINISTRATOR
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join our busy HR team. In this role, you will provide all aspects of administrative support across a diverse range of areas, such as HR system data input, sickness absence and recruitment paperwork.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential as you will be responsible for creating contracts of employment, letters and other documentation from new as well as using set HR templates. You will also be the first point of contact for any incoming telephone calls from candidates and agencies.
Other responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the training team, coordinating all starter and leaver administration, checking Disclosure and Barring Service applications for accuracy and carrying out thorough authenticity checks on the required documentation.
The successful candidate will have excellent computer skills and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.
As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above or equivalent
Confidentiality and integrity
Excellent planning, organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail
Strong computer skills, including advanced level user of Excel
Previous experience working as an Administrator
Desirable requirements:
Previous HR administrative experience
Certificate in Personnel / HR Practice (CPP / CHRP)
