This includes medication-assisted treatment; outpatient substance use treatment; group and individual counseling; play therapy; psychiatry; parenting classes; overdose prevention training; vocational/educational counseling; primary care services such as: internal medicine, pediatrics, prevention and treatment of HIV, Hepatitis C treatment, hypertension, diabetes and asthma, and health education; and access to our free playroom.

CCHP is committed to providing our patients with the highest quality of care. We are a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), licensed by the Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

CCHP is seeking an Attending Physician, Internal Medicine to join our multidisciplinary team. The Attending Physician will provide comprehensive care to patients in our primary care and substance use treatment programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide medical care in line with medical training to patients at the Center.

· Responsible for comprehensive recording of work-up activities, diagnostic findings, medical plans, and treatment follow up.

· Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests as needed.

· Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and family treatment in conjunction with other Center staff to formulate comprehensive treatment and rehabilitative plans.

· Participate in the development and implementation of new services, trainings and quality improvement projects

· Mentor medical students during their rotations at CCHP, if applicable

· Provide weekend and evening coverage by phone as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Spanish speaking preferred

· Computer literacy and EHR experience required

· Board Certified or eligible, in Internal Medicine

· Experience working in a community health clinic or practice preferred

· Valid New York State Medical License, DEA, and BLS certification

· Experience in Addiction Medicine preferred

· Ability to work effectively with diverse populations

Pay: $170,000.00 – $185,000.00 per year
