Center Director Job at Westerville, OH US Full Time

We at the The Learning Academy of Westerville are searching for a passionate and detail oriented leader in the role of Center Director. We offer a salary and compensation based on qualifications and years of experience. We are looking for a leader who will help brand our center in the Westerville and surround areas. You will be part of the management team responsible for managing the overall program including human resource development, staff scheduling, program planning, program implementation and evaluation; student assessments, family relations, marketing, enrollments and academy operations.

Position Requirements:

· Minimum two (2) years of full time experience in managing center-based programs in an Assistant Director, Center Director or similar management role. CPL 5 or CPL 6 Required

· Candidates should have all credentials required for the position of a Center Director per ODJFS or be willing to get them shortly after joining

· A thorough knowledge of Ohio Licensing regulations (ODJFS) for child care centers and a great understanding of developmentally-appropriate practices

· Must have at least an AA degree in child care or management, or related field.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Action oriented, organized, strategic thinker, focused on getting the right things done
