About the Role

Centari is hiring a skilled and motivated Go Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building core infrastructure to meet the needs of Centari’s customers. Your primary focus will be on developing scalable and efficient systems for data ingestion, machine learning training and inference, and search, while ensuring high performance, reliability, and security. This role will be 80% in-person, 20% remote, based in Durham, NC.

Areas of Focus

• Implementing search retrieval and ranking
• Configuring and using Kubernetes on GCP
• Implementing RBAC
• Implementing authentication with LDAP, SSO
• Implementing data infrastructure through event-based triggers
• Customizing and deploying opensource ML models
• Customizing embeddings for specific tasks
• Experience with strategies for training NNs on structured data
• Experience with integrations with: Microsoft Office, NetDocuments, iManage, Stripe

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the CTO and other team members to design, develop, and maintain systems and APIs using the Go programming languages.
• Write efficient, clean, and reusable code following best practices and industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues as they arise.

Expectations

• You should have a high level of experience with using Go in building complex real-time systems.
• You should be familiar with different system architecture decisions and their tradeoffs.
• You should be familiar with different data and ML infrastructure technologies and their tradeoffs.
• You should have exposure to, and interest in, at least a few of the Areas of Focus.
• You should be ready to be part of the engine that drives Centari forward, and interested in improving the practice of law.
• You should be a US Citizen / Permanent resident.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
