Job Summary:

We are looking for a full-time Sr. Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Sr. Staff Accountant will have responsibilities within the areas of vendor management, AP oversight, A/R, and collections. Additional responsibilities include preparation of monthly financial reports, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with budgeting and contracting function
• Entering new clinical studies and amendments into CRM system
• Assist with management of Clinical Conductor system
• Billing/Invoicing sponsors
• Manage A/R and collections
• Assist with management of Certify A/P system
• Reconcile clinical studies at the end of trials
• Prepare reports for month end
• Analysis and review for monthly financials – Balance Sheet/P&L
• Prepare productivity report
• Manage payments for specialty studies
• Reconcile bank statements
• Manage credit cards
• Assist with forecasting
• Assist with annual budgeting process

• Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years prior experience in an accounting role
• Strong computer skills with MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
• Prior experience and familiarity with using expense report management software
• Budget tracking experience
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to analyze and manipulate large amounts of data
• Experience working within a health care environment preferred
