Overview:
This role entails overseeing production lines and related equipment, including monitoring the efficiency of processes and the performance of tools and equipment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Recognize and contain non-compliant products or practices;- Utilize effective root cause analysis principles to identify the origin of the deviation, devise and implement corrective action plans, and handle affected products accordingly
Collaborate with Efficiency Improvement Engineers, Equipment Engineers, and Production staff to ensure accurate work instructions and procedures that reflect the most up-to-date best practices at each work station.
Create and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train staff to execute processes correctly and safely
Develop startup procedures and standard process monitors to assess the condition of the line and identify any out-of-control tools or processes
Basic troubleshooting of high-volume manufacturing tools
Identify essential process metrics and implement statistical process control at key manufacturing stations
Minimum Requirements:

Experience/Education:
Holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
Possesses at least 2 years of hands-on experience working in an R&D laboratory or a similar environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and statistical software (e.g., JMP, Minitab)
Experience with CAD or Engineering Drawings
Prior startup experience

Manufacturing environment- Exposure to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, nuisance dust, and skin exposure to chemicals used to run/maintain machines
PPE
May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump-caps, gloves, hair nets, masks, & clean-room frocks while adhering to the prescribed safety procedures
