Cela’s Creative Learning Center Hiring for Lead Teacher Full Time

Quality early learning program looking for full-time teachers and support staff. Duties include being responsible for children in a classroom setting, creating and implementing curriculum to facilitate children’s learning, communicating with families regarding child’s day, maintaining classroom cleanliness, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge on best practice in early childhood education. Hours would be 7:30 am-4:00 pm.

Cela’s Creative Learning Academy is a Christian-based, Early Achievers participant in Medical Lake, WA serving ages 4 months through 12 years. Our mission is to provide a safe, healthy, happy, and educational environment by thoughtfully preparing activities with the child’s best interest in mind. Qualifications:

• Loving and nurturing personality
• Team player
• Positive attitude
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice in Early Childhood Education
• Knowledge of Early Achievers standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Organization and ability to multitask
• Certificate or degree in ECE, or ability to complete an ECE short certificate within 5 years (scholarships are available)
• Minimum of one year experience teaching in a licensed early childhood classroom

The following are Washington State licensed childcare preservice requirements:

• TB test within the past 12 months
• Infant/Child First Aid & CPR (In Person)
• Bloodborne Pathogens
• Washington State Food Worker Card
• Portable Background Check cleared through MERIT
• DCYF Required Trainings
• Proof of MMR, Hep B and COVID 19 vaccine or immunity
• Ability to complete a 30 Hour Basic Training

Compensation DOE and Education

$17.50-$19

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 – $19.00 per hour
