CECOS College Hiring for Lecturer Education and Training Job at London, England Full Time

CECOS College London is looking for experienced Lecturers to deliver on the teacher training course – Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training and/or L6 Diploma in Teaching and Learning.

The course/s is delivered from campus from Monday to Sunday.
Requirements

• Degree in Education (preferable), but other relevant degrees could be considered.
• PG Cert. Qualification in Education is desirable, but not mandatory.
• At least, possessing Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment / Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement/Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment/Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement/A1 or D32/D33.
• Possessing IQA qualification is also preferred.
• Preferably, membership of Society for Education and Training or any other Professional Affiliation.

Main Activities and Responsibilities

• To undertake specialist teaching responsibilities, to enable students to receive a high-quality educational experience in liaison with the programme head
• To observe students in learning, teaching, and assessment settings, providing effective and constructive feedback to support their development and progression
• To develop lesson plans and individual schemes of work as required
• To collaborate with other academic staff in developing and enhancing specialist units
• To deliver teaching according to agreed standards, and identify areas for potential improvement
• To monitor student engagement, progress, and to maintain up to date records of work.
• To provide pastoral support to students, as when needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £25.00-£30.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
