Job Description
CEA Technologies, Inc. is seeking an entry level Logistics Specialist 1 to provide logistics support to a system of radar threat emulators being integrated into the U.S. Department of Defense’s test & training ranges. CEA Technologies specializes in state-of-the-art element-level Digital Beam Formed (DBF) Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar, communications & missile illumination systems for land & maritime environments.
The successful candidate will initially spend 60-90 days training & orientation traveling between various locations within the Nevada Test & Training Range and Ridgecrest CA & Point Mugu CA (Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division). Upon completion of this training & orientation you will be permanently located in Tonopah NV, however, may be deployed to other U.S. ranges to support customer requirements as needed.
Responsibilities / tasks include:
1. Assist in performing logistics/analyses support tasks to include logistics planning, maintenance planning, supply support, packaging/handling/storage/transportation, personnel & training, facilities & data
2. Assist with entry of logistics support data & documents into maintenance management system databases
3. Assist in receiving & reviewing purchase requests & orders, inventory s, work orders, quantities & availability of required material & priorities of customer orders
4. Assist in examining material delivered to determine or verify order accuracy & condition
5. Assist in preparing routine logistics correspondence, standard operating policies & procedures
6. Assist in interfacing & supporting internal & external customer logistics requirements generation & execution
7. Assist in providing support to include shipment preparation & receiving, asset tracking & inventory
8. Assist in property inventory, auditing transfers & disposition
9. Assist in creation & execution of equipment & material transportation plans
10. Provide hands-on maintenance support to field engineering technician activities in support of mission requirements
11. Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
1. Must be at least 18-years of age (minimum age for a U.S. DoD security clearance)
2. High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical or Vocational School
3. Current driver’s license
4. Pass a background check
5. Willingness & ability to work in varying weather conditions
6. Lift up to 50 pounds
7. Coachable, confident & success-oriented individual who can work in a fast-paced environment
8. Display integrity, reliability, empathy & strong work ethic
9. Possess interpersonal skills necessary to perform in a tightly integrated team of engineers, technicians & logisticians
10. Must be capable of achieving a U.S. DoD SECRET clearance within six months of employment. Active DoD SECRET clearance preferred.
11. Must be willing & able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of domestic locations & for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs
Desirable Qualifications:
1. No experience required – will train, but previous inventory, warehouse &/or transportation experience is a plus
2. Active DoD SECRET clearance
3. Good communicator, both written & oral
4. Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
