CDW Hiring for Software Operations Specialist at Toronto, ON Full Time

The Software Operations Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing and managing operational processes that are required to support Software Solutions. The goal is to ensure consistent, scalable processes across the organization, that meets the needs of the Software sales cycle. The Software Operations Specialist will work closely with the Microsoft Partner and Product Manager to ensure process recommendations are holistic and scalable. Fact finding, and research are required to understand the business requirements and design processes that meet those needs.

What you will do:
Process all CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) Microsoft Agreements accurately and timely

Continuously identify opportunities for process development and improvement

Investigate process requirements, including all relevant departments and coworkers

Enter Microsoft orders into appropriate tools, ensuring CDW Canada achieves Operational Excellence Metrics

Enter all anniversary and renewal orders into SPS within Microsoft time lines

Provide Licensing Specialists with information that supports achievement of On-time Renewals

Provide Support on level 100 Licensing inquiries

Manage Software Operations processes, including but not limited to:

Manage Microsoft Operational Excellence Metrics

Create processes that support the Software business, ensuring that all relevant coworkers and departments are included in the process design

Identify tools (internal, CDW US, external) that will improve efficiencies as they relate to Software Sales

Create and update process documents as required to maintain an accurate and update to date Licensing Operations manual

Provide accurate and timely response on information related to operational processes

Work with CDW US to understand opportunities to leverage existing processes

Monitor the effectiveness of key processes to ensure customer (internal and external) satisfaction and maximum efficiency

Support Software Product Managers and Licensing Specialist with their operational needs

Support Licensing specialist on level 100 inquiries

What you need to succeed:
Must Have:
High School Diploma

3 years minimum industry experience

1 year minimum experience in a Licensing Operations role or equivalent experience

Proven experience in process development

Proven experience in project management and cross departmental engagement

Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft licensing programs

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)

Strong interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)

Ability to communicate and interact effectively with both internal and external customers, including all levels of management

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to problem solve and multi-task

Willingness to learn and stay informed about current partner licensing programs and products

Flexibility, and adaptability

Nice to have:
College diploma or Bachelor’s Degree

Industry experience in Microsoft Licensing and/or Operations

Current knowledge of Microsoft licensing models as well as Microsoft core technologies
