You may lead complex, multidisciplinary projects aimed at centering impact in our education go-to-market, product/services development and marketing efforts. You will scope and prioritize needs, define requirements with internal stakeholders, and help cross-functional teams execute on initiatives to maximize ROI for partners, customers and CDW. You’ll communicate the CDW Education mission to both internal and external stakeholders to bring together relevant players to the table. You’ll drive systemic, organizational change through strategy and planning, management and execution, and a goal and accountability-based approach.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Develop and grow existing partnerships at the regional, state, and national levels, in your area of focus, that support mutual interests in advancing education through various types of technology
Serve as a consultative strategist to the Superintendents, CIO, CTO, CAO, CFO, Directors, and other key leadership
Expand thought leadership through keynote presentations, featured speaker opportunities to national audiences at strategic, high-profile events
Establish and expand new partnerships with stakeholder associations in an effort to establish member programs and develop opportunities.
Target high visibility Education account opportunities and projects
Discovery of customers’ business needs
Addressing needs with proper solutions
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
Enhance CDW Education national presence by engaging the community and networking with industry contacts, vendors, customers, and internal field teams
Observe trends, gather insights, and share findings regularly with internal CDW leaders.
Communicate the CDW Education mission and vision by presenting and speaking at conferences and before partner boards in your area of focus.
Formalize partnerships by bringing together relevant internal and external stakeholders and presenting quarterly updates to executive management
Lead complex, multidisciplinary projects to center impact in the go-to market, product/services development, and marketing efforts of CDW Education
Other Responsibilities
Participation in trainings, events, and activities on CDW’s behalf
Visits/calls with various levels of management from high potential organizations
Communicate ideas with peers and leaders covering different markets
Present quarterly updates to executive management
Collaborate and communicate regularly cross functionally
Education and/or Experience Qualifications
Minimum ten years experience in education
Master’s degree in educational administration, curriculum, and development, instructional technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience in leadership including leading system-wide initiatives, establishing strategic direction, or related field equivalent experience.
Thorough knowledge of Education Technology market dynamics and priorities
Have background and experience in using technology to advance educational goals
Required Qualifications
Exemplary communication skills, written, oral, as well as presentation
Demonstrated excellence in planning and execution
You are comfortable building relationships with customers and effective at problem solving.
You are comfortable working cross-functionally, internally and externally, toward a strategic plan.
You are a confident presenter to high-level decision makers
Experience and understanding of US edtech trends, challenges, and industry
Preferred Qualifications
Possess a personal workspace with the expectation of participating in daily video conference calls
Works effectively with remote, distributed teams
Ability to understand the technology market
Extra consideration for Doctorate in related fields.
