We firmly believe our employees are our best assets and we are committed to providing ongoing training and support to allow them to reach their full potential. We are seeking an ambitious and driven Operations Assistant to join our Operations Division and help us grow our expanding business.

Attention to detail is critical to this role. You must be willing to work in a manufacturing/construction and installation environment that can at times have tight deadlines.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Order materials for construction and assist with project management. Ordering of gravel and fill, dumpsters, equipment etc.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Follows direction and stays on the task at hand.
• Ensure quality product and service delivery.
• Ensure on-time delivery of products and services.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Assist with the quality control program.
• Liaise with production and field teams.
• Provide administrative support.
• Communicate with vendors, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
• Create daily tasks list to enable the Operations Division to standardize processes in the workplace and on construction sites.
• Complete sign offs for engineered s.
• Complete site visits, take photographs and document site conditions, book final inspections, coordinate with building inspectors and meet with building inspectors. Complete site walks with inspectors and sub-trades.
• Review final inspection checklist and follow-up with internal company divisions for action.

Job Qualifications and Assets

• Experience in a construction or manufacturing environment would be an asset.
• Valid G license.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, complete work in a timely manner, strong work ethic, self-motivated and results driven.
• Punctual, trustworthy, and mature.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Knowledge of common materials and components used in construction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Essentials.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $23 to $26 per hour based on experience.

Paid: Weekly

Schedule:

• Day shift – Monday through Friday
• 7:00AM to 5:00PM.
• 44-50 hours per week with the possibility of overtime.

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay after 44 hours in a work week.
