This job is on-site initially, hybrid work possible (Grand Rapids, MI or Traverse City, MI).

Summary: This role will participate in the design, development, support, and optimization of a variety of RFID business applications. They will design and support software for internal manufacturing processes as well as for external customer-driven applications. The Developer will also use and support numerous RFID hardware and software tools. A qualified candidate has experience with C# and .NET. and can participate in all aspects of the agile software development life cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Define project objectives by analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality.
• Create, modify, and test application code using Visual Studio.
• Efficiently manage bug tracking.
• Assist product owners in the creation and updating of product documentation.
• Occasional support of end users.
• Actively participate within the team.
• Contribute ideas for new solutions to resolve internal and customer issues.
• Maintain knowledge of current development trends.
• Develop and maintain a firm understanding of RFID hardware and operating principles.
