CCI Hiring for Senior Linux System Administrator at Durham, NC Full Time

The primary role is to install and configure the Linux operating system as well as manage and maintain Linux-based systems on the Amazon Web Services (AWS)platform.

The position will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, andongoing maintenance of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and more.

It will alsobe responsible for System maintenance by reviewing error logs, system backups,monitoring system performance to prevent slowdowns and disruptions, Licensedeployments and setup, may include setting up a Linux Satellite server anddeployment manager, and providing any needed technical support.

This position willprovide hands-on technical support for system security monitoring and optimizingthe performance of these systems, as well as troubleshooting and resolving anyissues that may arise.

Additionally, this resource may be responsible for managingand maintaining other related technologies such as DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM).

Strong knowledge of Linux administration, AWS, and networking are required forthis role.

This position is required to be on call for evenings and weekends to meetbusiness needs.

Salary: $50.00 – $95.00 per hour
