We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our Quality department. This candidate will be performing visual, dimensional or FAI inspection on PCB boards, finished and in-process products. Additionally, they will be recording inspection data, performing audits and calibration, writing certificates of conformance and participating in lean initiatives. This individual will be working in both final and incoming inspection as needed.

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2-5 years related knowledge and experience in manufacturing technologies. Familiarly with IPC Class 3, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485 (medical devices) standards is preferred. Must have experience with using precision measuring tools, lean methodology and root-cause analysis. Must be a versatile, focused, and self-motivated individual that works well in a team environment and across all departments.

Duties

• First Article, In-Process, and Final Assembly Inspection experience
• Experienced working with Printed circuit boards
• Experienced working with IPC standards with the inspection of Printed circuit boards (PCB’s)
• Perform inspections using a microscope
• Perform internal audits as required
• Enter data into Manufacturing Control System
• Determine acceptance criteria and create non-conformance reports as required.
• Experience with generating documentation and procedures

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Certifications or experience in IPC
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis in EXCEL preferred.
• Class 3 Quality Inspection experience
• Experienced in performing visual and mechanical inspections using microscopes and calipers.
• Experience working in production environment
• Experience working with Lean Manufacturing Principles
• Source inspection and DCMA experience preferred
