Job Description
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an exceptionally organised and customer centric individual to support our Talent Acquisition team to ensure all recruitment campaign requests are managed from submission through to post-interview feedback. As the talent acquisition coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring that managers are supported with their campaigns, advertising vacancies, scheduling first and second stage interviews, booking rooms and gathering feedback to provide an overall positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
To be considered for this fixed term appointment until March 2024, you will have a background in administration with exceptional coordination and organisation skills. If you have worked in a talent acquisition function previously, this would be highly advantageous but not essential. You will be confident managing multiple conflicting priorities and will have gained experience in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and will place customer service at the centre of everything you do.
What will you be responsible for?

• Processing new talent acquisition requests from Hiring Managers into the applicant tracking system
• Advising hiring managers on the talent acquisition process via the guidance available
• Creating high quality and inclusive adverts for hiring managers to ensure UKAEA are attracting top calibre candidates, whilst delivering consistency and professionalism including the elimination of discrimination.
• Working with department administrators and hiring managers to book in placeholders for interviews.
• Arranging and organise pre-screen and panel interviews; liaising with candidates (from the UK and overseas), as well as hiring teams
• Booking virtual and physical meeting rooms, administering additional assessments
• Meet and greeting candidates (virtually and in person) – making them feel comfortable whilst creating and promoting an excellent customer experience.
• Verifying ID documentation.
• Progressing candidates through the hiring process and providing appropriate and timely feedback after interview to both candidates and managers where required.
• Promoting and understanding equality, diversity and inclusion, ensuring that this is considered within all responsibilities, including challenging inappropriate behaviour.

Please note, hybrid working may be available for this role however this may be subject to change based on business requirements and format of interviews.
Qualifications
Essential skills, experience and competence required

• Good administration experience (ideally within talent acquisition)
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with good attention to detail
• Competent IT skills and knowledge of using systems and social media platforms
• Excellent written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a need to juggle priorities regularly

Desirable skills, experience and competence

• Previous experience in a talent acquisition related discipline
• CIPD or recruitment qualification would be advantageous
