The Role:
Job Title: HR Assistant
Salary: £30,000
Location: The City
What would I be doing day to day?
Key duties:
Proactively manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle for paralegals, identifying the roles in line with business objectives, ensuring a seamless candidate experience and working in partnership with external agencies.
Work with HR business Partners to develop plans for key talent initiatives and succession planning.
Support HR Business partners with ER matters such as with taking minutes and drafting Occupation Health Referrals and support on policy and process.
Advise on performance issues and absence management, escalating when appropriate.
Ensure all Visa and immigration records are kept updated and assist with visa applications.
Support the HR Business Partners and the Rewards and Benefits specialist with the annual pay review.
Take ownership for responding to general queries from internal and external sources.
Ad hoc project work when required.
What is the company looking for?
18-months + HR experience gained in the legal sector or other professional services firm
Degree and/or CIPD qualified
Proven ability to manage a demanding work load
High level of written ability and exceptional attention to detail
Proactive and pragmatic approach and balance a wide range of activities at any one time
