JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision, contributes to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of CBRE systems and assists in the development of new features. JOB DESCRIPTION

• Consulting and Analysis: Meet regularly with defined clients and stakeholders to understand and analyze their processes and needs. Determine requirements to present possible solutions or improvements.
• Client Support: Perform baseline system support, administrative and maintenance duties for assigned systems. Troubleshoot application and system problems.
• Project/Solution Activities: Support goals by participating on project teams. Deliver on assigned tasks and action items.
• Software Development Activities: Leverage knowledge of applications / systems and underlying architecture. Maintains awareness of IT process best practices, technology trends and emerging technologies.
• Software development life cycle: Solid understanding and first-hand experience of the collaboration in an agile software development

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Associate degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field with a minimum of 7 years’ experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or MIS, with a minimum of 5 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, with a minimum 3 years of experience; or relevant Business or IT experience of minimum of 7 years. Minimum of 4 years of programming preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
• Ability to effectively present information.

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Ability to analyze, interpret, and organize large amounts of data
• In-depth knowledge of ETL and data management strategies, tools, principles, and practices
• Expertise in database & ETL technologies using Oracle, MS SQL Server, SQL, PL/SQL, Informatica and Talend
• Experience with ETL concerning meta data management, intermittent data checks throughout a process, data validation.
• Expert level in Python/SQL
• Experience in architecting large-scale data solutions, performing architectural assessments, examining architectural alternatives, and choosing the best solution in collaboration with both IT and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated project management and technical design skills
• Backend technologies experience and knowledge of latest developments (e.g. micro-service architecture) preferred
• Practical experience in software architecture roles preferred
• Knowledge to configure and deploy different environments and stages of development strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience on enterprise scale business solutions’ performance tuning and auto-scaling management
• Hands-on knowledge on DevOps applied to data science strongly preferred
• Ability to negotiate and mediate complex problems among teams strongly preferred
• General knowledge in cloud technologies strongly preferred. Experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud is a plus
• Knowledge on Azure ML, any machine learning data management, Snowflake and Snaplogic is a plus

BONUS & NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with SoX & SOC Audit process and remediations
• Experience and knowledge of data & system security, vulnerability and remediations
