CBRE’s Design practice has an opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in our in San Francisco office. This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with 2+ years’ experience to work on complex mechanical building systems for large commercial, public and industrial projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares mechanical designs and perform calculations in support of large commercial and industrial projects – both renovation and new construction.
  • Assist the Senior Engineer with planning the layout of a project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval
  • Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling and resolving engineering design and test problems.
  • Prepares scaled drawings and contract documents for building contractors.
  • Assists Senior Engineer with construction administration duties and conducting periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree from four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience required.
  • PE License
  • Experience with Revit is strongly preferred

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Mechanical Engineer position is $85000 annually and the maximum salary for the Mechanical Engineer position is $100000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
