Support the day-to-day operations of a busy retail centre Full-time, 6-to-9-month contractPenrith Homemaker Centre l Land of the Darug People
CBRE are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join the onsite team based at Penrith Homemaker Centre in what is a busy, diverse, and challenging environment. This exciting role will see no two days the same with a blend of finance, administration, customer service, tenant/contractor liaison with marketing and operational support.

Here’s a snapshot of your day:

• Assist with day-to-day operations of all aspects of the property including finance, tenant liaison, lease administration, as well as general office administration duties
• Establish positive relationships and provide prompt responses to tenant’s requests
• Maintain the lease management and tenancy schedule and assist the Centre Manager with general administration of all leases to ensure compliance by the owners and the tenants
• Monitor financial transactions relative to lease and contractual obligations
• Prepare cash flow budgets, including analysis and forecasting of retail performance
• General property, office and administrative duties including reception duties, processing invoices, along with ad-hoc duties as required.

Skills you’ll need to be successful:

• Previous administration experience, retail experience would be advantageous
• Experience in AP/AR as well as strong financial, budgeting and accounting skills
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships
• Ability to assume autonomy for tasks and projects
• Proactivity and thinking on your feet are a must complimented by a flexible approach to daily issues that may arise
• Excellent time management and organisational skills and the capability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with the ability to pick up systems quickly.
