The role

ing to the Manager – Laboratory, this role is responsible for conducting reference testing on grain commodities and other agricultural testing services, while complying with ISO and NATA requirements.

Duties of the role include:

• Assisting with the collection, preparation, testing and storage of grain samples;
• Conducting grain analysis testing in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and entering analysis into systems;
• Assisting with sample intake, dispatch, processing and analysis;
• Ensuring that all samples are dispatched on time to meet customer requirements;
• Assisting with the collection, preparation, testing and storage of grain samples;
• Adhering to National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) and biosecurity requirements; and
• Completing testing and ensuring results are accurate and timely.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in grain sampling or laboratory grain analysis;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Effective communication, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills;
• Time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate initiative;
• Ability to work individually and within a team environment;
• Sound Microsoft Office skills, including the use of Microsoft Excel; and
• A CBH Sampling certificate or ability to attain.
