We are looking for an IT Technician for our Mississauga site.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

The IT technician is responsible for the proper functioning of all computer equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work along with the I.T. Director to ensure proper functioning of the I.T. network on the event site
• Ensure the maintenance of all computer and networking facilities, including laptops, peripherals, telecommunication tools, software, in connection with the infrastructure located at the head office in Montreal
• Install an ensure proper functioning of POS and networking services for ticketing and sales kiosks
• Provide technical support to internal users for computers, peripherals and network
• Manage inventory, maintenance and proper functioning of equipment and systems
• Manage photocopiers, fax machines and printers
• Create back-ups of event data
• Establish the network between the event and the head office
• Assemble and dismantle computer and networking facilities at the start and end of the event and follow-up with service providers
• All other related tasks necessary for the proper functioning of operations

PREREQUISITES:

• College diploma in computer science or DEP other related field
• Knowledge of IP telecommunications and cell phones
• Minimum three (3) years of experience
• Knowledge of VMWare (VSphere), Apple MAC, an asset
• Knowledge of the MS Office XP-2003-2010, 2013 and Office 365 suite
• Knowledge of wireless products (WIFI)
• Experience in RJ45 crimping and wiring
• Ability to train and assist a clientele of users
• Bilingual, written and spoke, an asset
• Autonomy resourcefulness, versatility and organization
• Ability to work flexible hours, days, evenings and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
